The 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 offers strong capability features across eight trims. Engine choices include a 5.3-liter V8 with 355 horsepower, a 6.2-liter V8 producing 420 horsepower, a 3.0-liter turbodiesel with 495 pound-feet of torque, and a 2.7-liter turbo engine with 430 pound-feet of torque. These engines pair with either an 8-speed or a 10-speed automatic transmission for smooth operation.
